Those of you that have been following me for a while, know that I love natural face cleansers like oatmeal or coconut oil. I like trying new things and when I stumbled across this product I was drawn to it right away. Why? Because it's natural, it contains aloe and it's ideal for sensitive skin.
This has been my go to face wash, for days when I'm running late and there's no time for "messy" cleansers like oatmeal or coconut oil.
Wer schon etwas länger diesen Blog liest, weiß dass ich natürliche Gesichtsreiniger, wie Haferflocken oder Kokosnussöl, bevorzuge. Ich probiere gerne Neues aus und dieses Produkt hat mich auf Anhieb interessiert. Warum? Weil es natürlich ist, es enthält Aloe Vera und es eignet sich für empfindliche Haut.
Dieser Reiniger ist zur Zeit meine erste Wahl, wenn ich mal wieder zu spät aus den Federn komme und ich keine Zeit für meinen Haferflocken- oder Kokos-Reiniger habe.
The second item on the ingredients list for this facial wash is already aloe vera. If you don't know this: The ingredients on any product are always listed in descending order of their predominance. So if aloe vera is on second place, this means, that this facial wash contains mostly aloe vera.
Auf der Liste der Inhaltsstoffe findest du gleich an zweiter Stelle Aloe Vera. Falls du es noch nicht wissen solltest: Bei allen Produkten stehen die Inhaltsstoffe immer in absteigender Reihenfolge ihrer Zugabemenge. Das heißt: Weil Aloe Vera auf Platz Zwei steht, ist davon besonders viel enthalten.
Why aloe vera? Aloe vera is a plant from Africa, which has been used for herbal and alternative medicine for a long time. Eventhough there's not much scientific proof for its effectivness, the extract of the aloe vera plant is said to have anti-inflammatory properties and supposedly it helps with the healing process of wounds. A lot of after-sun products contain aloe vera, because it's supposed to heal sunburns.
Warum Aloe Vera? Aloe Vera ist eine Pflanze aus Afrika, die seit Jahrhunderten in der Pflanzenheilkunde und Alternativmedizin verwendet wird. Auch wenn es für die Wirksamkeit kaum wissenschaftliche Belege gibt, wird of behauptet, dass das Extrakt der Aloe Vera Pflanze entzündungshemmende Eigenschaften hat und die Wundheilung unterstützt. Viele After-Sun Produkte enthalten Aloe Vera, weil es angeblich einen Sonnenbrand schneller heilen lässt.

I've been using aloe vera on my skin for a long time. I have a pure aloe vera gel, that I like to use on my face. In my opinion, it has been great for my skin and if applied to a light sunburn before going to bed, it is usually gone the next day.
Ich verwende schon seit geraumer Zeit Aloe Vera für meine Haut. Ich besitze ein reines Aloe Vera Gel, welches ich auch gerne im Gesicht auftrage. Ich empfinde es als besonders wirksam; wenn ich Aloe Vera auf einen leichten Sonnenbrand vor dem Schlafengehen auftrage, ist dieser meist am nächsten Tag komplett verheilt.
The Aloe Gentle Facial Wash is liquid, but when you pump it out of the bottle, it turns into a white foam. I use about two pumps and massage into my skin. I rinse with luke warm water and finish with a cold splash of water. However, the aloe product line also contains a toner, as well as a day and night cream and a face mask. I might try them at some point too. But for now, I just finish the whole procedure with my favourite moisturizer: shea butter.
Der Aloe Gentle Facial Wash ist flüssig, wenn man ihn aber aus der Flasche pumpt, wird er zu einem weißem Mousse. Ich drücke zweimal auf den Pumpspender und massiere das Produkt sanft ein. Danach wasche ich alles mit lauwarmen Wasser ab und beende mein Reinigungsprogramm mit ein paar Spritzern kaltem Wasser. Die Aloe Vera Produktlinie enthält allerdings auch ein Gesichtswasser sowie eine Tages- und Nachtcreme und ein Gesichtsmaske. Vielleicht probiere ich diese Produkte in Zukunft auch einmal aus. Am liebsten verwende ich aber immer noch Sheabutter für meine tägliche Feuchtigkeitspflege.
This product really does what it promises to do: It's not drying, it doesn't leave your skin feeling itchy, BUT it still manages to give you a squeaky-clean feeling.
I can definiteley recommend this product for anyone with dry, irritated or sensitive skin!
Dieses Produkt hält wirklich was es verspricht: Es trocknet nicht aus und hinterlässt kein spannendes Gefühl auf der Haut, ABER der Aloe Gentle Facial Wash schafft es trotzdem, dass sich die Haut porentief rein anfühlt.
Zweifellos eine Empfehlung meinerseits für alle mit trockener, irritiertet oder sensibler Haut!
