Makeup has been one of my passions for many years. I enjoy the entire process of applying it and in some ways I find it very relaxing. To me, makeup is art, it is supposed to make us feel good and underline our natural beauty.
Since I started doing YouTube videos, two of my friends suggested I do a makeup tutorial. Of course I was very flattered by their idea and now the video is finally done.
Make-Up ist schon seit vielen Jahren eine meiner Leidenschaften. Ich genieße den gesamten Prozess des Auftragens und auf eine gewisse Weise empfinde ich es als sehr entspannend. Für mich ist Make-Up eine Form von Kunst, die uns ein tolles Selbstwertgefühl vermittelt und unsere natürliche Schönheit unterstreicht.
Seitdem ich angefangen habe YouTube-Videos zu drehen, haben bereist zwei meiner Freundinnen vorgeschlagen, ein Make-Up-Tutorial zu filmen. Natürlich war ich sehr geschmeichelt von diesem Vorschlag und nun ist endlich das Video fertig.

The look in the video is my everyday routine. Sometimes I change up the colors for the eyeshadow and blush. I think this is a very wearable combination that is suit for the office and even school (depending on your age). A lot of people don't consider liquid eyeliner to be a part of a natural looking makeup routine. I say it depends what your focus point is. This look is focused around the eyes. Therefore I chose a clear lip balm rather than a lipstick. If you combine black liquid eyeliner with neutral and more earthy colors it takes away that harsh look, you would want for an evening makeup.
I think this makeup look is very similar to the Audrey Hepburn look in the 1950s and I say you can never go wrong with anything that is Audrey-nesque. ;)
I'm really excited to read your comments on this video. I'm very pleased with the outcome as it (in my opinion) transfers the feeling I have when I apply makeup. Most of this is due to the wonderful music by the Ambassadeurs. I recommend you to visit their soundcloud to listen to their other songs.

Der Look in diesem Video ist meine Alltags-Make-Up-Routine. An manchen Tagen ändere ich die Lidschatten- und Rougefarbe, aber im Grunde ist der Look immer der gleiche. Ich finde diese Kombination ist sehr tragbar und auch fürs Büro oder die Schule geeignet (kommt natürlich auf dein Alter an). Oft wird gesagt, dass ein schwarzer Lidstrich nicht unbedingt zu einem natürliche Make-Up zählt. Ich denke allerdings, dass es darauf ankommt, worauf sich der endgültige Look konzentriert.
Im Mittelpunkt bei diesem Make-Up stehen die Augen. Deswegen habe ich mich gegen einen Lippenstift und für einen neutralen Lipbalm entschieden. Durch die Kombination von schwarzem Eyeliner und neutralen, erdigen Lidschattenfarben, nimmt man dem Look etwas an Härte.
Für mich hat dieses Make-Up etwas von Audrey Hepurn aus den 50er Jahren. Und ein bisschen Audrey steht jedem ;)
Ich bin schon sehr auf eure Kommentare gespannt. Ich in mit dem Resultat sehr zufrieden, weil das Video meiner Ansicht nach genau das Gefühl transportiert, welches ich beim Schminken empfinde. Das liegt aber natürlich Größtenteils an der wunderbaren Musik von den Ambassadeurs. Ich kann euch nur empfehlen ihre soundcloud zu besuchen und die anderen Songs anzuhören.
